There is a city centennial on our horizon! The City Library welcomes you to an afternoon of short presentations and workshops in preparation for '100 years of city status' in 2030. We will reflect on how the city has previously celebrated key milestones and determine some projects leading to 2030. This event will be suitable for members and supporters of heritage groups and projects, committee members and leaders of heritage groups, history enthusiasts, and curious locals.
A mid-point, celebratory afternoon tea will coincide with the launch of two publications: The 2026 Manawatū Journal of History and the Palmerston North Heritage Trust's 2027 Calendar.
Please register by Wed 9 Sep for catering and planning purposes.
