Search our FAQsHow do I get in line for an item checked out by someone else?
You can place a reserve (hold) on an item that is currently in use by another person. You will then be put on a list and get a notification when the item can be picked up. You can choose which library to pick up from at the time you place the reserve. You have 10 days to pick up a reserve after the notification is sent.
Reserves (holds) can be placed through:
- the Library App,
- the Library catalogue,
- or by contacting us.
If you have too much to read or are going on holiday, you can manage your reserves from my account online or in the app. Suspending your reserves will keep your place in line, but you are skipped until the reserve is unsuspended.
