LHM: A Quarter Century of Green Corridors: What, Where, Why and How [PRESENTATION]

Presented by David Forrest (Chair of Green Corridors, 2001-15) and Ant Gear (Chair of Green Corridors)

From denuded valleys and river margins in 2001, green corridors have appeared to the south of the city between the ranges and the river.  These corridors have enabled insects and birds to thrive, water quality to improve and recreational opportunities to be enhanced. Why and how has this happened? From the first plantings in 2001 until today, this presentation traverses the history of the development of the Green Corridors, in all its colourful glory.
