Guided Tour: The Faithful Service of the St Andrew's Pipe Organ

Built in 1870, the heritage pipe organ was installed in St Andrew’s in 1908. Join musician Roy Tankersley in exploring the soundscape of the pipe organ played by Robert Matthews during his tenure as organist and choir master and hear some of his favourite pieces and arrangements. The WOOFYT (Wooden Octave of Organ Pipes for Young Technologists) will enhance understanding of how a pipe organ works. See also the talk about Robert Matthews.
