A look at the linguistic connection of te reo Mā'ohi (Tahitian) to te reo Māori. On a recent visit to Tahiti and talking with taxi drivers, lecturers and students, it was clear to Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University Associate Professor Hone Morris that there are linguistic connections between our te reo Māori and the Tahitian reo Mā'ohi. His talk will discuss similarities and differences.
