Dean is known as a 'living Lorax'. He is Forest and Bird's Northland Conservation Manager and is returning to his hometown to give a big picture public talk on our ancient native forests and their role in native forest ecosystems and the striking seasonal cycles within them. What happened in the Manawatū, the campaigns to save what was left and the current threats to conservation land.
Also, about seabirds and nutrient cycles (incl Manawatū place names after seabird species)
All welcome.
