Led by Read NZ Te Pou Muramura, the 2026 inaugural New Zealand Children's Book Week celebrates reading, while spotlighting New Zealand children's authors and illustrators. The theme this year is 'Reading Around Aotearoa', capturing the week's focus on elevating children's reading throughout the motu.
