There's so much on across all the community Living rooms, including a Teddy Bear Sleepover, mini crossbows and catapults and for the first time, a celebration of Ada Lovelace Day. City Library commemorates 125 years of women’s suffrage
On 19 September 1893, New Zealand became the first country where women could vote in general elections. To celebrate the 125th anniversary, Palmerston North City Library is hosting displays, activities and events in conjunction with the national Suffrage 125 Whakatū Wāhine Commemoration programme.

Celebrate Pride Fest
Palmerston North City Library is hosting a Pride Fest this June. We have a range of inclusive community events such as talks from Kyle Mewburn, Ruby Dax and Renee; the screening of More than Four Films, and rainbow pet accessories workshops and parade.
