Heaps of holiday fun at Palmerston North City Libraries these July School Holidays to ignite and explore your imagination.

Local Manawatū author Erin Willson brings her exciting new session Animals in Winter to all our PNCL libraries! This activity session is inspired by a much-loved family book Animals in Winter. This fun, hands-on experience gets kids thinking about how animals survive the cold—both here in Aotearoa and overseas!

We are excited to also bring you our next Beanstack reading challenge - Palmy Kids Read NZ's Best 4 exploring the finalists in the New Zealand Children's and Young Adult book awards 2025. Puanga is celebrated too with soup and movie sessions across the first week. There is also a lot of minecraft madness, craft, story times and MORE across all our locations.
