Matariki | Puanga
Matariki is a time of remembrance, celebration and sharing. For Māori, it marks the beginning of a new year and is a time of coming together as communities and whānau.
Rangitāne o Manawatū traditionally give prominence to Puanga, an important star near the Matariki cluster that can be easier to see in this part of the motu.
Activities to celebrate and learn together at the City Library will be added to this page as they are confirmed.
