World Poetry and Race Relations Day: Open Mic and Potluck Afternoon Tea

To celebrate World Poetry and Race Relations Day join us for a Community Open Mic. Hosted by award winning poet Leonel Alvarado - let voices unite, stories inspire and every word matter. Bring along a short original poem or a short favourite poem to share. Celebrate diverse voices and creative expression in a supportive environment. All languages and themes are encouraged. Content should be suitable for a general audience.

Followed by a potluck afternoon tea.

In partnership with Manawatū Multicultural Council and Welcoming Communities Te Waharoa Ki Ngā Hapori.

Everyone welcome!
