Back of House Tour: Te Manawa Museum of Arts, Science and Heritage

Step behind the scenes at Te Manawa Museum of Arts, Science and Heritage, and glimpse into the collection stores where 45,000 artefacts of Manawatū history rest. The Curatorial and Collections team will share their favourite items from the collection, which encompasses settler history and taonga Māori, as well as items from contemporary life. Expect the unexpected as you discover objects rarely displayed. Be sure to bring your sense of curiosity – questions are encouraged as you learn the stories behind the objects.

Tours on the hour. Sessions are one hour long, with a maximum capacity of eight people per session. Bookings are essential and a fee of $10 per person applies.
