Patricia Grace is one of Aotearoa's most celebrated Māori fiction authors and a figurehead of modern Aotearoa New Zealand literature. 

Titau Peu is one of the main Tahitian voices in Pacific literature. her writing focuses on Polynesian society, the impact of colonisation and the place of women.
