The Native by Nature exhibition is on at the Central Library from Friday 20 December to Friday 17 January.

This is the new exhibition from local Samoan/Irish artist Tilomai So'otaga Jennifer Tonumaipe'a Farrell-Taylor. Jenn is a well-established artist in Te Papaioea and in 2023 became Palmerston North’s first Pasifika artist-in-residence. The exhibition ‘Native by Nature: Mana driven visionz for a Niu world view’ is a visual tribute inspired by the Polynesian Panthers, paying homage to their sacrifice and service during the Dawn Raids period, and their unwavering dedication to the continued advancement and liberation of Pasifika people.

Everyone is invited to come and view this powerful collection of art. You can find it on the Ground floor and the First floor of the Central Library.
