What accessibility access and aids does the library have?

Accessibility is important. Central Library has a wheelchair, walking aids and basket trolleys for you to use. There are ramps from The Square and George Street as well as one disability car park at the back car park (off Main Street). Lifts can be take you to each floor. Please ask at the main desk on the first floor at the Central Library.

For sight impaired, we have magnifying glasses and a text enlarger onsite. You can borrow large print resources such as audio books, a book rest, and we have few daisy players. The self-service kiosks for borrowing have sight-impaired options.
