What do I need to know to use Blueprint?

Hours & Access:

Blueprint is open Wednesday to Saturday every week (excluding public holidays). Check for updated information here.

Cost:

It is generally free to use the Blueprint and the tools provided so long as you bring the materials needed to bring your project to life.

There are some charges for materials we provide such as 3D printing filament (click here to learn more about 3D Printing at Blueprint).

Safety:

We require everyone who visits the Blueprint to follow staff instructions immediately for health and safety reasons.

Visitors must wear shoes and any safety gear provided (such as protective eyewear) without fail.

You will need to have a safety briefing for each tool or machine you use and you must check in with staff before you begin work every time you visit us, no matter how experienced you become.

Some tools (like the CNC routers) will always require staff supervision.
