Your Stories: Preserving Local Community Newspapers

Photo of bound pages with marbling edge work. Some of the pages are curled, yellow, brittle and breaking at the edges due to age.

The Preserving Local History and Educational Trust, Te Pupuri I Nga Hitori o Te Rohe, preserves the stories found in community newspapers. Trustee, Anne Jackman, will explain how the multi-partner programme is enabling regional media to join National Library’s Papers Past, supporting the varied research needs of historians, writers, genealogists and students.
