Exploring Rangitāne o Manawatu mātauranga-a-taiao through the ages. Rangitāne has occupied the catchment of the Manawatu River continuously for ~1000 yrs and over that time has experienced periods of environmental change. During this time Rangitāne has adapted, survived and thrived. This change has shaped the cultural expressions of Rangitāne who have learned to live sustainably on this land. Despite major change over the last 200 years the expressions of people, place and culture are still strong.
