Guided Visit: Foxton and Flax

Photo of a room with various industrial machines wheels and belts. The machine in the foreground has red bars a blue engine and rotating wheels.

Join John Girling for ‘Foxton and Flax’, an experience which includes seeing the flax stripping machinery in operation, and an overview of the flax industry. Well worth a visit, as there have been exciting new additions over the past months! The museum’s photographic display shows the production of carpets and woolpacks from flax.
