More than 20 people associated with our rohe are remembered or recognised in public artworks around the city. Pou, and other sculptural forms, featuring tīpuna have been made by toi Māori practitioners such as John Bevan Ford, Heemi Te Peeti, Craig Kawana and Warren Warbrick. Pick up a map locating selected sculptures and murals from Central Library and determine your own self-led tour to one or more of ten sites in the city and surrounds.
