Palmerston North's only Category 1 historic property was built in 1893 by local sawmiller Jacob Nannestad. It was acquired by the Palmerston North City Council in 1984 and after extensive refurbishment has been available for community use and hire since 1992. Bring your picnic, enjoy the gardens, explore the house and learn about the history of the area by viewing the Coach House displays.
