80th Anniversary of RNZAF Receiving its First Jet Aircraft - a Gloster Meteor (11 Feb 1946)

From Go to Woe – a short history of the tactical jet aircraft operated by the RNZAF. From the first flight of a Meteor in February 1946 to the disbandment of the Air Combat Force in October 2001, RNZAF personnel operated tactical jet aircraft with pride and professionalism on operations and exercises from the Mediterranean to the Pacific.
