110th Anniversary of the Defeat of the Allied Fleet in the Dardanelles

After the Ottoman Empire entered the Great War, Russia sought assistance from Britain and France. The decision was made to force the Dardanelles to open the sea route to Russia. CDR (Rtd) Richard Jackson, RNZN, will give insight on the unique and costly naval battle, that led directly to the Gallipoli campaign.
