Join us and our very good furry friends from Canine Friends Pet Therapy at Te Pātikitiki Library!
The accepting, loving nature of dogs gives this programme its magic and helps children relax, open up, try harder while having fun reading to a friendly, calm dog. Woof!
We ask that kaitiaki and whānau give their reader and very good furry friend some space to read independently.
Sessions are kept short, between 10-15 minutes in duration. Library staff and a dog handler will be present at all times to help facilitate the sessions.
