Explore the Galaxies of Imagination this summer!

The Summer Reading Programme is back at the Living Room of the City! Our popular Summer Reading Programme is returning although a little different due to Covid-19!

This programme promotes the enjoyment of reading for children aged 4 – 10 years over summer for readers of all abilities.

This year our programme moves online but still has the same incentive based factors to reward reading over summer.

READ books over summer

LOG what you have read

DO the online activity badges, and

EARN incentives by completing the incentive activity badges.

To earn your finale pack you need to finish the programme by completing 4 (or 5) incentive activity badges which draw on the experiences of your reading over summer.

Galaxies of Imagination Summer Reading Programme starts Monday 6 December and finishes on Thursday 27January.

Planet iRead (Intermediate Reading Programme for children aged 11-13 years) – starts Monday 6 December and finishes on Thursday 27 January.
