Whanganui-based photographer Paul Gibson has a love for the outdoors and the beauty found in nature. Paul's work has seen him travel the length of our country and to the Sub-Antarctic Islands. Paul has published six books. The last, Birds New Zealand - Beauty Like No Other, has sold several thousand copies. It comprises 300 pages that take you on a journey full of colour and living imagery showcasing the beauty and variety of New Zealand’s birds. From the huge albatross of the southern ocean to the tiny rifleman of New Zealand’s bush, 210 birds are illustrated and described. A further 40 pages cover a range of topics from feathers and flocking to photography and locations.
