Massey University invites you to a lecture series that discusses the advancements made in technology that we frequently come across in our daily life.
Presented by Prof. Hans Guesgen.
Ever wondered how your phone knows where you are or even when it can’t seem to find you? This talk looks at the building blocks of a Global Positioning System (GPS) and uncovers the principles and techniques used.
The interactive lecture tells us about the world of technology and how it will help us. It’s a great chance to better understand what’s happening.
Bought to you by Massey’s Telecommunications and Network Engineering Research Group, the Tech Simple lecture series is a FREE event held from 5.15pm at the Palmerston North City Library. It will cover everything from GPS, the homes of the future controlled by our phones and microscopic robots that may someday heal us.
Sessions will last roughly 45 minutes and include a Q + A session at the end where people can ask questions.
