Local History Week

Overview

Every city and town has stories to tell, and Palmerston North is no different. Our city has its own unique identity and history that makes it the place it is in 2023, and that’s what Local History Week sets out to reveal. The week-long celebration of who we are and how we got here is set to take place with a change of date, (27 February – 5 March). It will be part of a wider Heritage Month (27 February – 2 April). The programme is still being developed so check back for more wonderful local history programmes and activities.
