1943 display: 80th anniversary of WWII activities for NZ forces

Hosted by Engineer Corps Memorial Centre Museum and Palmerston North City Library.

A display of museum objects, maps and books representing what occurred in 1943... includes the tail-end of the North Africa Campaign; through Sicily and Italy; the Pacific; and some Royal New Zealand Air Force and Royal New Zealand Navy activities. On the screen (Central Library, 2nd Floor) will be a presentation, ANZAC Homefront, of women at war and what was happening on the home front. Top photo: Vela Lavella - 1943.
