Come visit our library stand and learn about how the library can help parents!
Palmerston North City Library is going to be at the Palmy Parent and Child Expo on Sunday the 14th of October. Come and talk to us about the amazing range of resources that we have available to assist you as parents/caregivers. Or come and talk to us at the library whenever it suits you.
Whether you are picking a name for your newborn, teaching your child to read, or helping your child in fending off bullies, you will come across such a variety of issues to deal with, and we have a resource for every situation.
There are books, magazines, DVD's, and much more for you as parents to read or to share with your children. Some are just for the kids once they are old enough to read to themselves.
The variety of topics is very broad: from pregnancy and birth, feelings about certain stages of your childs' life, disabilities and how to deal with them, toilet training, weaning, and so much more.
So when you're feeling like you need some help with being a parent, check out the parenting section at the library, you might just find what you are looking for. Remember to grab a monthly brochure that advertises the library programmes for parents and children too!
