Journals A-to-Z Search subscription finishing - our subscription to this finishes on 30th June 2009. You will be able to access this database up until this date.
Our subscription to Kompass Worldwide has finished.

We have a new subscription database: Library PressDisplay. This gives access to newspapers from 81 countries (actual newspapers, cover to cover) in the language they are published in (38 different languages covered). It contains a 60 day archive of these papers.

From the end of May 2009 we will no longer be subscribing to Kompass Worldwide. You will still be able to access this database up until 31st May.

New subscription: Find My Past - an online genealogy database. Access in the New Zealand and Pacific Islands Zone, 2nd floor, Central Library.
The National Library of New Zealand has launched a new catalogue called the New Zealand Libraries' Catalogue (http://nzlc.natlib.govt.nz).
This is free to access and does not required a special login. Please use this instead of the National Bibliographic Database. More info ...
The What Do I Read Next database is no longer available. It is being replaced by the new Books & Authors database.

The BookFind-Online database is no longer available to the public. It has been replaced with the BookData-Online database which, due to the authentication method, is only available to staff. Please ask at an Information Desk if you need staff to look something up for you.

We have subscribed to the New Zealand Business Who's Who online - this is a well known business directory for New Zealand companies. It is available to use in the Central Library, and at the Ashhurst, Awapuni, Te PÄtikitiki, or Roslyn branch Libraries.
