Vision

Our Vision

To inspire people to explore the pathways to the world : Te Ara Whanui o Te Ao

Our vision portrays the Palmerston North City Library of the future.

The Palmerston North City Library inspires the spirit of exploration, the joy of reading, viewing and listening, and the pursuit of knowledge for people of all ages and backgrounds, beginning with the very young.

Our libraries connect people to each other, to their community and beyond, and to their hopes and dreams.

Our rich and varied resources provide the opportunity for everyone to value the past, enrich the present and shape a future that is full of possibility.

The Library promotes and enriches the democratic, cultural, educational and economic life of our diverse and evolving City.
