Tutorials

Whether it is learing more about the Internet, writing a CV, uploading photos to your Facebook page or coming to grips with Word Processing - we can help. We have a range of free classes to take. Enrolments for tutorials are taken by phone (06 351 4100) or in the Central Library at any service desk.

Tutorials length

Each tutorial runs for 45 - 75 minutes. Our tutorials are all "hands on" with one person per computer.

Venue

All tutorials are held in the Community Cyber-space on the Mezzanine Floor of the Central Library.

Student/tutor ratio

In all of our tutorials we have one tutor and a maximum of three students. This ensures that you receive adequate attention and assistance from your tutor.

Group bookings, including special interest topics, can be arranged. Use of Cyber-space for clubs and organisations needing a computer room can also be negotiated.

 Further information

Further information about tutorials can be obtained by contacting the Community Cyber-space Librarian. Phone (06)351-4100 during library opening hours.
