SDUGNZ is a wholly independent organisation that acts as a forum for discussion and interaction between its members and as a communication channel between members and SirsiDynix, Inc. The group was previously known as CHaDNZ - Customers of Horizon and Dynix in New Zealand, and before that, Dynix Users Group of New Zealand (DUGNZ).
This user group has not held a conference since 2007. SirsiDynix have encouraged NZ customers to attend the SD sponsored user group meetings in Australia. The most recent of these was: Software and Service: The SirsiDynix APAC Regional Conference 2008 in Melbourne
