If the library doesn't have an item you can make a 'Suggestion for Purchase' using the form on this page. This is a request that the library buy an item for its collections.

Please check the Library catalogue first to see if we already have a copy of the item.

If you provide your name and library card number we will let you know the outcome of your suggestion.

• If we decide to purchase the item, a note will be placed on your card alerting you to the decision. 

• If we decide not to purchase the item, a note will be placed on your card with a brief explanation of the decision.

There is no set timeframe for a response.
