Attention fiction lovers! Are you wondering what to read next?

This "reader's advisor" eResource has something for everyone. Adults, teens and children will be able to identify other books that will appeal, based on titles, authors and topics they have read and enjoyed.

You can also find books by genre, plot, characters, or location, in this treasure trove of information about fiction.

Besides locating books to read, users can learn more about books and authors through Author Read-alikes, Feature Articles, Book Discussion Guides, and BookTalks. The eResource also provides full-text reviews and annotations for more than 20,000 titles.

  • Author Read-alikes: find out which writer "reads like" a favorite author

NoveList allows readers to use a favourite author or title as a template to locate other authors and titles of interest.

Readers can also enter words that describe the contents of a book they would like to read, and NoveList retrieves titles that contain these words in the book's subject headings field.

In addition, users can browse over 1,200 theme-oriented book lists, 150 award lists and 1,000 fiction related websites.

NoveList contains materials for all ages including picture books, children's "chapter" books, young adult titles and books for adult readers.
