Workshop led by Panamanian singer-songwriter Romulo Castro and Rangitane artist Warren Warbrick.
Romulo Castro is a prominent Latin American artist, and with his Grammy Award-winning band Tuira has performed throughout Latin America, the United States, Spain, Israel and Algeria. His music seeks to raise awareness about social, environmental, racial and political issues and combines a great variety of rhythms from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, American folk to Native American cultures.
Warren Warbrick is a local artist and musician will incorporate traditional Maori music with Latin American sounds.
Learn some insights from these two creative and talented musicians at their workshop. The following night Romulo is performing in concert at the same venue. (2 March 7:30pm $10 entry - No EFTPOS).
