Home Library Services

About the Home Library Service

From our door to your door, this service brings the library to you.

We believe every member of the community should be able to use our services and collections.

We offer a service for those who are physically unable to get to a library.

The service is provided with the help of volunteers who select and deliver books.

What is involved?

Deliveries are made once or twice a month.

The volunteers who make the delivery will also return the books you have finished.

The Home Service Librarian will talk to you about what you like to read.

Popular deliveries include:

  • Books on tape or CD
  • Large print and ordinary print books - both fiction and non fiction titles.

If you are interested in receiving Home Service deliveries or assisting as a volunteer, please contact the Home Service Librarian.
