| Magazines About the Magazine Collection
The Palmerston North City Library subscribes to a large number of national and international magazines that cover a wide range of topics.
All Children's Zone, Basement, Community Language and Branch Library magazines may be issued immediately, as their latest copies are not placed on display. |

For magazines written in languages other than English, the Community Languages Living Room has a selection of titles.
In the New Zealand and Pacific Islands Zone there is a mixture of lending and reference magazines. Many of the reference magazines are retained indefinitely.
You will find a wide range of popular general interest magazines in our General Magazines collection
All lending magazines are issued free for one week, except for the Bestseller magazines. Bestseller magazines are shelved on the Mezzanine Floor in the Central Library and cost $2 per week.
The Library also subscribes to a number of online databases that allow full text access to many more magazine titles. These databases can be accessed either in the Library or at home.
