This is as part of a community profiling project to help paint a picture of how the city’s library services should be developed over the next 3-10 years.

Each group will consist of 8-12 persons, and require approx 1 hour of your time. The sessions will be held during the first 2 weeks of July.

Participants are required for the following focus groups:

  • Residents of Palmerston North City who seldom or never use the library or its services
  • Regular visitors who use the library’s resources, but do not borrow items
  • Tertiary students
  • Regular users of the Library’s Cyber-Space

If you would like to take part in one of these focus groups, please let us know your name, phone number and/or email address and the focus group which interests you.

There are 4 ways you can do this:

  • email Denise, or
  • speak to staff on the Issues desk at the Central Library, or
  • speak to your branch librarian, or
  • phone PNCC on 356 8199 and ask for the City Library

You will then be contacted with further information.

Registrations of interest must be received by 27 June 2009.

Numbers are limited - so if you are keen, be quick!

All those taking part in the focus groups will receive a small token of appreciation by way of a voucher of their choice for either a one week DVD/CD rental, 90 minutes of cyber-space use, or a coffee, tea or gelato at Kuppa: The Library Café.
