New Mobile Library timetable

From 23rd June, residents at new stops in Kelvin Grove, Milson and Fitzherbert  will be visited by the Mobile Library. These stops will replace some existing stops that are under-used or that are close to the new Highbury branch library.

The opening of the Highbury Library has given Library an opportunity to re-assess the mobile library timetable. The changes to the Mobile timetable have been designed to extend the service to Kelvin Grove, Milson and Fitzherbert areas, which are far from Branch Libraries.

Some stops have been under-used and we have changed these stops to service pre-schools, retirement villages and areas of the community where residents find it difficult to get into use the City Library or one of the branch libraries.  It is free to join the library so if you are not a member pop on to the Mobile with some ID and proof of address and you can use your card Library card straight away.

Mobile Library customers are not limited to the selection of items carried on the bus. Any item held by Palmerston North City Library can be requested and the Mobile Library will deliver it. Library members can make these requests directly to the librarian on the bus, or on the Palmerston North City Library website.

Check out the new mobile timetable listed below to see where the closest stop to your home or work place is, or you can download a copy of the timetable on the City Library website, or pick up a copy at any branch library.
