Friday Flight

The first Friday of every month during term time. 

This month we've got Sport Stacking.  

Ruth Tipene, the Highbury Librarian, will be in the Basement with all the gear.

So if you're aged between 13 and 19, come along at 4pm this Friday to give it a go!

'Paintings from the human archive' - new paintings by Kirsty Porter.

Painted from photographs from her past, Kirsty examines the nature of memory - does she remember the event or does she remember the photograph? A crystalline ooze appears in throughout the paintings, drawing our attention to the potent life force of each scenario.

Art exhibition by John de Vries

Local artist John de Vries is displaying his artwork at the Roslyn Library until Friday 20th July 2012.

His past works include a whale mural in Wellington, murals in Foxton and he also works on private commissions. Come and look at his wonderful colourful artwork.
