Summer Reading Programme finale
Well done to all those who participated in the 2009/2010 Summer Reading Programme 'Dive into Books'! Despite the wet weather we had a great finale night at the City Library!
For those 'Dive into Books' participants unable to make the finale you can collect your dog tag, certificate and book from the Children's desk.
Children's Day 2010 Colouring In Competition
New Zealand's Children's Day is a national, non-commerical day to celebrate how special and important our children are. This year's Children's Day is Sunday 7th March 2010 and the theme is "Praise and Encouragement".
To celebrate this day we are holding a colouring in competition!

Entries are open for children aged up to 12 years of age. Entries due by Friday 5th March. Winners will be announced on Children's Day at the Children's Day Festival at the Convention Centre (11am-3pm).
