Disabled parking
Parking is available for those with appropriate parking stickers. This park is at the rear of the Library. The car park entrance is on Main Street.
A wheelchair is available for customers who find it difficult to walk around the Library, particularly when carrying an armload of books. There is also a walker and three basket trollies available for use in the library.
The Library also has a special Home Library Service for people who are unable to visit a library.

Lockers
Lockers are available for use while visiting the Library.
Keys are collected at the Fiction Zone Information Desk on the 1st floor and must be returned before the Library closes on the same day.
Parenting room
The parenting room is in the Children's zone on the 1st Floor.
Photocopiers
There are five public copiers in the Central Library. The copiers are coin/card operated and 'self-service'. Four of the Central Library copiers are black and white only, with reducing and enlarging available.
The Central Library's fifth copier is a colour copier. This is situated near the Non-Fiction desk on the 1st Floor.

Public telephones
A free public telephone is available on the Mezzanine Floor.
Showers
Three public showers are available on the Mezzanine Floor of the Central Library, one with wheelchair access.
There is a small charge of $1 for approximately 15 minutes.
Towels ($1 to hire) and soap (50c) are also available.
Toilets
There are public toilets on each floor of the Library. Disabled toilets can be found on the 1st floor.
