Disabled parking

Parking is available for those with appropriate parking stickers. This park is at the rear of the Library. The car park entrance is on Main Street.

A wheelchair is available for customers who find it difficult to walk around the Library, particularly when carrying an armload of books. There is also a walker and three basket trollies available for use in the library.

The Library also has a special Home Library Service for people who are unable to visit a library.

Parenting room

The parenting room is in the Children's Zone on the 1st Floor.

Photocopiers

There are five public copiers in the Central Library. The copiers are coin/card operated and 'self-service'.

• near the Non-Fiction desk on the 1st Floor
• in the Welcome Lounge on the Mezzanine Floor (check Welcome Lounge opening hours)

Public telephones

A free public telephone is available on the Mezzanine Floor.

Showers

Three public showers are available on the Mezzanine Floor of the Central Library, one with wheelchair access.

There is a small charge of $1 for approximately 15 minutes.

Towels ($1 to hire) and soap (50c) are also available.

Toilets

There are public toilets on each floor of the Library. Disabled toilets can be found on the 1st Floor.
