Join the Intermediate Summer Reading Programme!

• Enrolment Date: To secure your place come along on Sunday 23rd November from 1pm.  
• Location: Welcome Lounge, Mezzanine floor, Central Library

What is the "Read Plus" Intermediate Summer Reading Programme?

This year the theme is: "iRead"

This is a free reading programme aimed at kids around the ages of 11-12 years old, and is based on doing book reviews of your favourite books.

There will be several events such as the Pizza Welcome Night and the Finale Day on January 16th 2009.

When you have read and reviewed 3 books you may choose a book to keep. Previous authors whose books have been earned include Andy McNab, Meg Cabot, Jacqueline Wilson, and Terry Deary.

You will be able to submit your book reviews during the opening hours of the Central Library at the Children's Desk, a selection of which will be put on our website.

Remember, places are limited.

• We also have a Children's programme for kids aged between 4-10 years old.
• And a Youth programme for kids aged between 13-18 years old.
