Join the Children's Summer Reading Programme!

• Enrolment Date: To secure your place come along on Sunday 23rd November from 1pm.  
• Location: Welcome Lounge, Mezzanine floor, Central Library

What is the Children's Summer Reading Programme?

This year the theme is "SUPERHEROES READ!"

The programme is for Children aged between 4-10 years old, and runs between 1st December 2008 to 15 January 2009.

It is a free, incentive based reading programme, that promotes books and reading.

You are required to 'Report In' (come in and talk to Library staff about your reading) a minimum of 4 times. Incentives are awarded as you read your way through the programme completing your 'Report-In's'.

At the completion of the programme you are invited to attend our big Finale Party.

Storytellers and entertainers will also be visiting the City Library throughout the programme.

• We also have an Intermediate programme for kids aged between 11-12 years old.
• And a Youth programme for kids aged between 13-18 years old.
