Email and instant messaging services
E-mail (electronic mail) is a way of exchanging messages over the Internet with other people who have access to e-mail. A typical e-mail address looks like this: doris@womble.net.nz. The companies below provide free e-mail accounts which allow you to send and receive e-mail from any computer with access to the web. Setting up a new e-mail address may take ten minutes or more.
Instant messaging is the next level of e-mail, allowing real-time communication between two or more people logged on to an instant messaging service. Access instant messaging services.
The e-mail providers listed below give web-based e-mail access to their customers. These services are not free; you must be a paid subscriber already.

The mail2web site may allow you to read your e-mail if you know the name of the mail server that your ISP uses, (e.g. pop3.inspire.net.nz), and your user name and password.
